WAILUKU, Maui, Hawaii – The 2nd Annual Aloha Cherry Truffle Cook-Off held at the Maui County Fair on Sat., Oct. 2 was sweeter than ever with awesome ice cream creations to benefit a very worthy cause. Students from Baldwin High School, Maui High School, Seabury Hall and St. Anthony High School showcased their unique recipes incorporating Roselani Ice Cream’s Aloha Cherry Truffle (A.C.T.). Proceeds from the sale of their entries will benefit MMMC Foundation to help fund mammograms for women who are either underinsured or do not have health insurance.
This year’s winners are:
1st place: Seabury Hall team – Dominic Mills, Chae Matayoshi, Tyler Yamada, and Jared Shimada. Advisors: Lynn Matayoshi and Joyce Yamada. Mentor chef: Heather Campbell (Four Seasons Hotel Pastry Chef).
